2016年10月25日下午,受实验室副主任叶龙的邀请,诺基亚全球数字媒体部销售总监Malachi Bierstein和现场摄录产品部销售总监窦晓军到访中国传媒大学媒介音视频教育部重点实验室。 结合实验室的科研优势和诺基亚的产业技术优势,双方从科研、产业发展等角度建立了初步合作意向。首先实验室表明与诺基亚公司联合开发全景拍摄视频技术的意义重大,诺基亚研发的OZO是目前最先进的虚拟现实摄影平台,能够捕捉360度全方位的音频和视频;其次实验室希望与诺基亚共建联合实验室,双方将共同致力于OZO虚拟现实摄影机的使用培训及推广,合作培养虚拟现实全景视频拍摄高端人才。
Malachi Bierstein先生简介:Malachi Bierstein serves as the Head of Sales of Nokia Technologies Digital Media division, which has introduced groundbreaking new products like OZO, the purpose built 360 VR camera designed and built for professional content creators. The division also includes license offerings for delivery and playback of 360 VR content that integrates into existing products and services. Before joining Nokia, Malachi continued to proliferate the adoption of premium digital video services as SVP Sales and Marketing at Saffron Digital. He lead the expansion of their premium OTT video distribution services into the Americas region allowing service providers and content owners to quickly and cost effectively launch SVOD, TVOD, Live, and Ad supported content services. Prior to Saffron Digital, Malachi was Head of Worldwide DivX licensing at Rovi Corporation, the core business of the company’s delivery and display division. In that capacity, he lead a global sales and support team that worked with all levels of the supply chain including service providers, content owners, integrators, OEM’s, and IC vendors to enhance the delivery and playback of digital video across all platforms. He was paramount in helping achieve the milestone of shipping 1 Billion DivX Certified devices to the global market. Malachi has been a pioneer of technology licensing models and digital video delivery solutions spanning from standard definition around the time of YouTube launch to 4K HEVC services to 360 VR content creation, distribution, and playback.
